Nandita A.
Senior Project Manager, Pune
“ My day (actually night) usually begins at 7:30 pm with a conference
call with the New York based onshore project managers. Since it is
the beginning of the business day in the US, we go over our “Pro-active
TDLs (to-do-lists)” which serve as our guide for the whole day. This
meeting is usually followed by conference calls with clients via video
or telephone conference. In these calls, we go over the previous day’s
DSR (daily status report) and appraise client of project progress.
Then we settle down with our respective development teams and start
working on the task at hand. Dinner is usually at about 10 pm. I prefer
the South Indian food from our in-house cafeteria. At 3:30 am (5:00
pm in New York), we have our FOCUS meeting addressed by US based management
including the President Mr. Victor Suhaas, and CEO Mr. Najeeb Elnasser
wherein they share their vision and goals for the company. We are
actively encouraged to participate in these meetings and spell out
our own personal vision for the company. At 4:00 am, we have a group
meeting and we discuss all the outgoing DSRs with all the team members.
I usually head home at about 4:30 am, have some breakfast on the way
at the cafeteria and go home and crash only to wake up to another
exciting day at Avion.” |
