Automated Website Inquiry Capture and Centralized Salesforce CRM Management
OVERVIEW
The Wix Website Contact Form to Salesforce Integration is a website-based inquiry management solution designed to capture visitor inquiries and automatically transfer submitted information into Salesforce CRM.
The solution integrates a Wix website contact form with Salesforce using Wix Velo development tools and Salesforce REST APIs. Website visitors can submit their contact details, including first name, last name, email address, phone number, and message, through the Contact Us page.
When a visitor submits the form, the frontend JavaScript validates the required fields and invokes a backend web method. The backend securely retrieves Salesforce API credentials and instance configuration from Wix Secrets Manager, obtains an access token, and communicates with Salesforce through its REST API.
A key highlight of the project is its secure website-to-CRM integration architecture, with separate frontend and backend processing, OAuth-based authentication, and automated inquiry record creation.
Submitted information is stored in a custom Salesforce object named Inquiry (Inquiry__c), allowing the organization to centrally manage website inquiries, customer requests, feedback, and follow-up activities.
The integration provides a streamlined communication process between the website and Salesforce CRM, reducing manual data entry and improving inquiry management.
